Business Across Borders is network for generating business for professional companies and organisations and connects them across countries and continents in an active, safe, reliable and rated community which is able to generate and provide business between members across the world

  • Who are your members?

Companies, corporations, trade associations, business groups, experts and consultants looking to generate business internationally whether this is outsourcing (client or supplier) or venturing in to a new market. Any operation looking to source products, expertise and services around the world and companies providing those needs

  • How do we get started?

Create your company profile, add leading executives (unlimited) - they can be located in different offices, publish documents, images, brochures, link company videos and publsih business opportunities

  • Cost of membership and benefits?

Active membership is:

€33 / month for a company or corporation or trade association (without its members featured)

€15 / month for a freelancer, consultant or expert

€200/month for a trade association or business group with its members featured

  • What software do you provide?

We offer our softawre platform to trade associations and business groups so they can cost effectively create their own network that can be linked within BAB

  • What is the cost of the software?

€100/month

  • A social networking site? 

No; social networking sites are for individual people to help promote themselves, their newsletters, careers and to connect with ex-colleagues, friends or like-minded people. BusinessAcrossBorders is a network for companies interested in creating or gaining business from other companies in other parts of the world.

  • Competition with social network sites?

A number of members use SN sites. Our members are companies, not individuals

  • Is BAB a trade website?

No; we provide information and contacts for members to initiate trade between themselves. We do not offer online trading and have no intention of doing so

  • Do you take commission on transactions?

No; the purpose is to introduce member companies and matching need with product, expertise or service. We demand no additional fees other than membership dues.

  • Do you deny membership?

We undertake some due diligence and can refuse membership to a company if they do not meet professional standards and requirements

  • How long have you been operating?

After five years of research and market assessment, BAB fully launched it's website in March 2008. Software upgrades and additional feature regularly

  • Who is behind Business Across Borders?

A management and operations teams come from backgrounds in publishing, professional services, research, new media and international business development

  • How is BAB funded?

Pure venture capital funding

  • Can I cancel membership at any time?

You have the opportunity to pay as you go either through recurring online debit/debit card charges taken monthly or by company direct debit and so therefore you can cancel at any time

  • How secure is the website?

There is much discussion regarding website and security. We do not encourage all messages or contact to be from within our website. Contact details are published within a profile and communication is directly encouraged between member companies and executives using telephone, email  or even post (mail). This will not change as we belive companies like to choose how they communicate

  • How do ratings work?

When a member has used a service or purchased products they can rate the company and add comments if desired

  • What if a member is rated poorly by a fellow member?

They can appeal to the member that posted the rating or contact us to find a way forward and an equitable solution

  • What kinds of business opportunities do you publish?

Investment, products, commercial property/real estate, contracts, job opportunities, tenders, agency/distributor search, research opportunities, joint ventures, tech transfer, conferences, exhibitions, seminars... you name it, as long as it's a professional, legal and genuine opportunity we want our members to be able to present it.
